Ein Gebet Moses, des Mannes Gottes. A Prayer of Moses the man of God. Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. 2. Herr Gott, du bist unsere Zuflucht für und für. Ehe denn die Berge Before the mountains were worden , und die Erde , und die Welt geschaffen brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world worden, bist du, Gott, von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit . , even from everlasting to everlasting, thou [art] God. 3. Und vergossen unschuldiges Blut , das Blut ihrer Söhne und ihrer And shed innocent blood, [even] the blood of their sons and of their Töchter , die sie opferten den Götzen Canaans, daß das Land daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan : and the land was mit Blutschulden befleckt ward; polluted with blood . 39. Und ihre Feinde ängsteten sie , und sie wurden gedemüthigt Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection unter deren Hände. under their hand . 43. Hilf uns, Herr, unser Gott, und bringe uns zusammen aus den Heiden , daß Save us , O LORD our God , and gather us from among the heathen, to wir danken deinem heiligen Namen und rühmen dein Lob . give thanks unto thy holy name , [and] to triumph in thy praise. 48. Gelobt sei der Herr, der Gott Israels, von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit ; Blessed [be] the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: und alles Volk spreche: Amen, Halleluja . and let all the people say , Amen.
